Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Rachael Ray, this six-episode series features eight junior chefs competing in weekly elimination culinary challenges, as they vie for a $20,000 culinary scholarship and their own web series on FoodNetwork.com. Each week, Rachael and an all-star guest judge -- including Sunny Anderson, Scott Conant, Amanda Freitag, Alex Guarnaschelli, Robert Irvine, Jeff Mauro, Daymon Patterson, Marcus Samuelsson and Fabio Viviani -- mentor and guide the kidtestants through culinary challenges, from preparing the perfect well-balanced bite, to creating "desserts in disguise." In addition, the young competitors must shine in their on-camera challenges as they articulate their culinary point of view and bring their food to life. By the end of the series, the kid chef with the highest overall score is awarded the grand prize. Competitors include: Chandler (Carnesville, GA; age 12), Chris (Ann Arbor, MI; age 13), Juliana (Marietta, GA; age 11), Nicholas (Edward, CO; age 10), Olivia (Yonkers, NY; age 11), Sabrina (Indianapolis, IN; age 11), Scarlett (Hollywood, CA; age 11), and Zach (Olathe, KS; age 12).

On Monday, September 28, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the season finale of RACHAEL RAY'S KIDS COOK-OFF. In the season ender, "Grand Finale Cook-Off," three kid chefs -- Chris, Chandler, and Scarlett -- battle it out one last time to determine who will be named champion, winning a $20,000 culinary scholarship and their own web series. The stakes are high as they cook to impress CHOPPED judges Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli, Amanda Freitag and Marcus Samuelsson.
