Plot Synopsis

Originally, drawn together to produce a charity album in honor of their friend Whitney Houston, five R&B divas -- Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Keke Wyatt, Monifah Carter and Syleena Johnson -- continue to share a genuine sisterhood, as well as the dream of reclaiming their fame and putting their careers back on track. Having seen all the highs and lows of the music business and now armed with important life lessons, they're fighting their way back, as they deal with major life transitions and challenges such as divorce, parenting issues, drugs, alcohol, physical abuse and more. R&B DIVAS returned for its second season on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT on TV One, with Angie Stone and LaTocha Scott joining the cast and with a new name, R&B DIVAS: ATLANTA.

R&B DIVAS: ATLANTA returned for a 10-episode third season on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT on TV One, with LaTavia Roberson (Destiny's Child) and Meelah Williams (702) joining original cast members Syleena Johnson, Keke Wyatt, Angie Stone and Monifah Carter. In Season 3, Diva Monifah and Terez plan their Hawaii wedding, with the season finale featuring their nuptials. Meanwhile, Diva Keke faces possible life altering news while her mother Lorna's issues come to a head, and they both go to therapy following an explosive fight. Diva Syleena finds herself in a position to take advantage of some incredible opportunities, but she initially only has one song. When she has enough music to present to Wayne Williams, she is forced to make a decision that could impact the Divas. After inviting the two new members of the Divas, Diva Angie's attempts to fix her relationship with her daughter Diamond derail the Divas first rehearsal. Later in the season, she attempts to mend some torn feelings between herself and some of the other Divas. By midseason, Diva Meelah throws an Autism Awareness concert in honor of her autistic son, and she hopes the Divas will perform at the show.
