A diverse group of young FBI recruits have arrived at the FBI Quantico Base in Virginia for training. They are the best, the brightest and the most vetted, so it seems impossible that one of them is a sleeper terrorist suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11.Flashing back and forth between the future -- the aftermath of a terrorist attack on Grand Central Station -- and the present -- a 20-week training course at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA -- we follow the lives of seven FBI recruits. These young adults are pushed to the brink as the class is gradually whittled down, until only the finest candidates remain. Haunted by questions about her late father and his mysterious career as an undercover agent, Alex Parrish joins the FBI searching for answers. Her fellow trainees include Ryan Booth (ex-military), Shelby Wyatt (an orphaned Southern belle), Eric Packer (a Mormon with a troubled past), Simon Asher (the first openly gay FBI recruit), Nimah Amin (an observant Muslim with a double life), and Caleb Haas (for whom the FBI is a family business). Their mentors at the Academy -- Miranda Shaw and Liam O'Connor -- have boundless experience but a complicated history with the Bureau and each other. When Alex Parrish learns that she's been framed for the terrorist event, she has to run for her life while trying to figure out which of her former classmates is the real terrorist before they strike again. Season 2 of QUANTICO premiered on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on ABC. After the rollercoaster events of Season 1, in which she cleared her name, saved millions of lives, and discovered the mastermind behind it all was the very man who had trained her at Quantico, American hero Alex Parrish was given a shocking reward: she was fired by the FBI. But in the final moments of the season finale, she was given the chance to serve her country again: in the clandestine ranks of United States' top intelligence agency, the CIA. In the season opener, "Kudove," Alex finds herself at The Farm, the CIA's mysterious training facility. As Alex navigates the dark world of espionage, far different and more dangerous than what she's learned before, she's pulled into the center of a deadly conspiracy that not only threatens the lives of this country's citizens, but the lives of countless others across the globe. This conspiracy calls everyone around her into question, be it new faces from the CIA or old ones from the Bureau. Season 3 of QUANTICO premiered on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT on ABC. This season, Marlee Matlin and Alan Powell join the cast as a new Black-Ops Team. It's been three years since American hero Alex Parrish has had to navigate the dangerous waters of the Central Intelligence Agency and put her life on the line for her country. She has been living a peaceful, anonymous life somewhere in Italy. However, Alex is forced to abandon this idyllic existence when Ryan persuades her to help him rescue Shelby from a notorious international arms dealer known only as The Widow, who is holding her hostage -- and in exchange for her release she demands something that only Alex can provide. Ryan and Alex recruit Owen and Harry to help rescue their friend and defeat the villain. To help the cause, Owen brings in former agent Jocelyn Turner, who has her own dark past with The Widow. A whole new future lies ahead for this team when they agree to work together as an elite black-ops task force.
