Plot Synopsis

THE PROOF IS OUT THERE: MILITARY MYSTERIES is a one-hour docuseries that follows combat veterans Rudy Reyes and Ronnie Adkins, as they unravel the mysteries behind the strangest and most controversial images, sounds and documents from the modern history of war. Mysteries span the modern era of warfare, including the World Wars, The Korean War, the Vietnam War, The Cold War, The Gulf War, and the conflicts of the 21st century. Assassinations caught on tape, exploding battleships, ghost planes, vanished soldiers, propaganda hoaxes, alleged cover-ups and conspiracies are analyzed and dissected by Reyes and Adkins, aided by a team of top experts, and former members of the military. Each 60-minute episode lifts the veil of secrecy on the fog of war for four different stories. In the series opener, "Ghost Armies; Missing Pilot; Lost Bomber; Inside the A-130," what really happened to a Desert Storm fighter pilot who went missing after being shot down in Iraq? After their B-24 bomber crashes, how do 6 WWII pilots fight for survival in the Libyan Desert? How does a secret U.S. Army unit deceive Nazi forces and help the Allied cause before the D-Day landings? And, how does one American super-aircraft control the skies and aid the Army in combat?
