Plot Synopsis
Each season, a group of former PROJECT RUNWAY and UNDER THE GUNN contestants return to the catwalk to compete in elimination design challenges as they vie for the most lucrative prizing in PROJECT RUNWAY history: a cash prize of $100,000 (Seasons 1 & 5-7) or $150,000 (Seasons 2-4); a feature spread in "Marie Claire," for which he or she will serve as a contributing editor for one year; a sewing and embroidery studio provided by Brother Sewing and Embroidery; and much more. Hosted by supermodel Angela Lindvall (Season 1), Carolyn Murphy (Season 2) or Alyssa Milano (Seasons 3-7), these designers face a brand new panel of discerning eyes, with world-famous designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman as judges. Plus, the contestants must show off their fashion prowess to guest judges, such as: the iconic Miss Piggy, supermodel Miranda Kerr and musician and producer Pharrell Williams, among others throughout Season 1; and in Season 2, Katie Holmes, Kylie Minogue, Stacy Keibler, Liv Tyler, Gretchen Mol, Diane von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, Margherita Missoni, Charlotte Ronson, Rafe Totengco and Elie Tahari. PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS returned for its fourth season on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime. Before revealing the first challenge, host Alyssa Milano reveals that two former PROJECT RUNWAY winners, Dmitry Sholokhov and Michelle Lesniak, are back. TV fashion correspondent and "Marie Claire" Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi returns to mentor the designers as they are judged each week by Isaac Mizrahi and Marchesa's Georgina Chapman. Season 5 of PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS premiered on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime, with Alyssa Milano, Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman judging an "anonymous runway" for the very first time without know which designer created each garment. Plus, Zanna Roberts Rassi returns as the designers' mentor. Guest judges for Season 5 include musicians Ke$ha, Boy George, Little Big Town and actresses Debra Messing, Vanessa Hudgens, Megan Hilty and Debi Mazar. The sixth season of PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS premiered on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime, with Alyssa Milano returning as host with judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman and Anne Fulenwider, Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire joining as mentor. In the new season, 16 talented designers will compete for a second chance at runway gold, as eight ALL STARS veterans go up against eight former RUNWAY designers making it to the ALL STARS battle ground for the first time. The Season 6 winner will receive a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine and a position as contributing editor for a year, and a complete sewing studio from Brother Sewing and Embroidery. The winner also receives a once in a lifetime trip to London, England, and luxurious skincare and makeup from Rodial and accessories and styling services from Intermix, to enhance their next collection. To top it all off, the winner receives a $100,000 grand prize to elevate their business and build their brand. The final season of PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS premiered on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 9pm ET/P on Lifetime. In the final season, 14 talented designers -- all winners from the PROJECT RUNWAY franchise from across the globe -- compete to be named world champion of the catwalk. The all-star designers include seven designers from the U.S. and seven designers from the international versions of RUNWAY from Australia, Brazil, Netherlands, The UK and Canada. Alyssa Milano returns as host with judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, and mentor Anne Fulenwider, Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire. For this international winners' season, JC Penney is selling looks inspired by the winning designs every week immediately following the premiere of each episode, with a weekly $5,000 and other prizes up for grabs in addition to the Grand Prize. On Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 8:30-10pm ET/PT, Lifetime premiered the Season 7 (and series) finale of PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS. In the season ender, "All the World's a Runway," actress Andrea Riseborough helps the judges crown a world champion as designers produce runway collections in front of New York's fashion elite. Which of Dmitry Sholokhov, Evan Biddell, Irina Shabayeva, and Michelle Lesniak will walk away a winner?
