Plot Synopsis

PROJECT IMPOSSIBLE is a one-hour documentary series that reveals the history and secrets of the world's most outrageous structures and methods of transportation. On Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, History Channel premiered the first episode of PROJECT IMPOSSIBLE, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In this episode, "Super Structures," throughout history, mankind has built amazing structures, engineered to overcome unique challenges. Now, a new class of super structures are taking on the impossible: the largest moveable building in history, a super-tall skyscraper built to withstand killer earthquakes, a next-generation sports stadium inspired by an ancient Roman temple, and a bridge being raised while it stays open to traffic.
