Plot Synopsis

When Emil, a 13-year-old prankster prince from a wealthy island kingdom, travels to the U.S. to live incognito as an exchange student with a single mom and her studious son, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with Teddy, a fastidious overachiever who is Emil's total opposite. But Teddy isn't too sure about the exchange student who's moved in with him; the kid says he's the son of a moose farmer, but that story doesn't add up. As far as Emil's concerned, Teddy needs to learn to loosen up. But what should be a fun-filled camping trip ends up being more stressful than planned. On Friday, November 16, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the first eight episodes of PRINCE OF PEORIA.

Netflix released "A Christmas Moose Miracle," a half-hour PRINCE OF PEORIA special, on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. Traditions are important to Teddy, especially after he lost his dad. And Teddy's never missed the Festival of Lights, but the bowling alley's been snowed in! Not to worry -- Emil insists the Christmas moose will save the day.

On Monday, May 20, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released eight additional episodes of PRINCE OF PEORIA, which the streaming service called Part 2. The prince is back, ready to squeeze even more fun out of his time in Peoria! Meanwhile, Teddy continues to work on his application for MIT. In the first new episode, "The King Arrives," the king has come to Peoria to bring his son back home. But maybe Sydney and Teddy can find a loophole in Buronian law that would allow Emil to stay.
