Plot Synopsis

PRIMAL INSTINCT is a one-hour docuseries that chronicles the stories of romances gone bad -- sometimes with deadly consequences. In the series opener, "Red Wedding," a chance encounter on a New York subway brings hard-working immigrant Gladys Ricart love, and introduces her to a lush world she'd never imagined. But her plans for a dream wedding turn into a devastating nightmare. Three weeks earlier -- on Monday, May 25 -- Investigation Discovery released the "Frozen Heart" episode online as an early sneak peek. That early look documented the story of Glenn Godfrey, who was Alaska's top cop. But can his years of law enforcement experience protect him and his family from an evil force unleashed by an ill-advised romance?

Season 2 of PRIMAL INSTINCT premiered on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery.
