Plot Synopsis
PREACHERS' DAUGHTERS is a one-hour reality series that follows a group of pastors' daughters, as they balance the temptations every young adult faces with their parents' strict expectations and code of conduct influenced by their faith. Season 1 featured 17-year-old Taylor Coleman, 16-year-old Kolby Koloff and 18-year-old Olivia Perry. In the second season -- which premiered Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime -- Taylor and Kolby were joined by two new young women: Megan Cassidy and Tori Elliott. Taylor is set on on pushing boundaries established by her strict father, Ken, a pastor of City of Refuge Pentecostal Church in Joliet, IL, who made mistakes with his older children and wants to keep Taylor his little angel. While her mother Marie tries to keep the peace between Taylor and Ken, she fears his stern rules will push Taylor to act out even more, especially when she gets to college. Conflicted and frustrated with her father's demands, Taylor confides in her half-sister Kendra, who Ken kicked out of the house when she was pregnant at 20. Kolby is ready to start dating, but quickly discovers it won't be as easy as she thinks since she has not one, but two preacher parents. Her father, Nikita, is a former professional wrestler-turned traveling evangelist who often gives sermons to thousands of parishioners at a time. Her mother and Nikita's ex-wife, Victoria, is a Christian preacher who hosts a faith-based radio show and is the director of two pregnancy centers, carries a no-nonsense approach to talking to teens, including Kolby and her friends, about sex. With three older sisters -- Teryn (30), Tawni (28) and Kendra (20) -- Kolby leans on them for support and guidance on her life. Olivia is a teen mom who, after partying hard, using drugs and drinking in high school, dramatically changed her life after the birth of her daughter. While trying to balance life as a young single mom, Olivia relies heavily on both her family and her faith, especially when she questions the paternity of her baby. Her father Mark, pastor of Everyday Church in Ocean, CA, and wife Cheryl, lead a hands-on approach to parenting, but often rely on prayer, rather than discipline, for their daughters, including Emily (20) and Audrey (23). Lifetime premiered the third season of PREACHERS' DAUGHTERS on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, with Megan Cassidy being joined by eight new young women. Season 3 opens with these nine preachers' daughters leaving their homes to pursue missionary work in Mexico. But with their newfound freedom, will the preachers' daughters remain on their best behavior? The new daughters featured in Season 3 include: Tyche Crockett (22; New Orleans, LA), the oldest of five children, who was raised by her strict pastor grandfather; Nikki Erimetz (19; Columbia, SC), a fun-loving southern girl, who has a heart of gold and a liver made out of stone; Kristiana Flowers (18; Detroit, MI), the youngest daughter of Reverend Kenneth James Flowers of the Greater New Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, who has felt the pressure to be the perfect preacher's daughter; Jayde Gomez (20; Lakeland, FL), a self-proclaimed good Christian, who currently lives at home under strict rules, including having her parent check her text messages; Kori Haynes (22; McComb, MS), a proud mother of three, who feels judged by anyone and everyone who is affiliated with the church; Cierra Vaughn (22; Chicago, IL), the daughter of a pastor at the House of Judah, who began rebelling at an early age; Lolly White (24; Los Angeles, CA), who grew up in South Central Los Angeles and has recently decided that she won't follow the path of her preacher father and has left his church, worshipping elsewhere; and Kayla Wilde (20; Newport Beach, CA), who is no stranger to missionary work, but had lost sight of her relationship with God after moving out and hitting the party scene.
