Plot Synopsis

Picking up just days after the finale of POWER, POWER BOOK II: GHOST is a one-hour drama series that follows Tariq St. Patrick, as he grapples with a new world order: his father dead and his mother, Tasha, facing charges for the murder her son committed. Now, he tries to navigate his new life at Stansfield University, in which his desire to shed his father's legacy comes up against the mounting pressure to save his family -- and he's torn between those two worlds: doing as his mother said, living his life as a normal college kid; or doing what she taught him, hustling product. POWER BOOK II: GHOST debuted on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 10pm ET/PT on Starz with a 70-minute season opener, moving to its regular timeslot -- Sundays at 8pm -- the following week. POWER BOOK II: GHOST returned with new episodes on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 8pm ET/PT on Starz. In the mid-season premiere, "Good vs Evil," Tariq's hands are tied, fearing that fully letting Brayden in on their arrangement with the Tejadas has put him on a violent collision course with Cane, who demonstrates the price paid for using his name. New episodes debut Sundays at 8pm through January 3.

The sophomore season of POWER BOOK II: GHOST premiered on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on Starz. The second season begins with Tariq St. Patrick still running from a legacy that haunts him. Forced into the choice to take the life of his professor, Jabari Reynolds, Tariq finds himself drifting further from that which he's been fighting to protect: his family. With Tasha in witness protection, Tariq knows he must sacrifice anything to save what's left of his family. Unable to do it alone, he turns to those wielding power and influence: Davis MacLean and his new partner, Cooper Saxe, as well as Rashad Tate. All of these options come with a steep price, so it's back to business with the Tejadas. However, with two murders involving Stansfield, Monet Tejada has to question if Tariq is what's best for her family as she seeks to protect her nephew's professional basketball prospects at all costs. Her kids, Dru and Diana, question her moves as she grows more distracted, especially when Monet goes as far as trusting Cane again despite his actions against the family. In doing so, Monet finds herself in bed with Mecca, a man who wants to show her a whole new world, potentially at the cost of destroying her old one, forcing Monet to lean on Tariq, who must decide what he really wants and what he's going to sacrifice to get it.

Season 3 of POWER BOOK II: GHOST debuted on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on Starz. The series moves to its regular timeslot -- Fridays at 8pm -- the following week. Fresh off the murder of Zeke, everyone is grieving, but they won't get much time as a new set of problems and questions arise. In the season opener, "Your Perception, Your Reality," a new semester at Stansfield means a fresh start for Tariq; Brayden learns the ropes at Weston Holdings under his uncle Lucas; Monet grieves the loss of Zeke; Cane searches for a new connect.

Part 1 of the fourth and final season of POWER BOOK II: GHOST debuted on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT on Starz. Each character's respective motivations fuel their power of choice to dive deeper into the game, fight their way out, or walk a blurry line between the two. New alliances have been formed with each faction and Tariq and Brayden must find a way back into the game. But Brayden starts flirting with a new, reckless lifestyle, leaving Tariq to wonder if there really is room for two at the top. With Monet left for dead, Davis facing potential disbarment, and Effie looking to secure her future at Stanford, everyone's on their own. Diana and Dru continue to question their roles while Cane levels up and starts working with Noma. As Noma is fighting to establish her business in the States and keep her daughter Anya in line, she finds her way on Tariq and Brayden's radar. With the fate of his future in the game and his family at the forefront, Tariq must reconcile his past to rise to the top of the food chain and become who he needs to be to protect those he loves most.

Part 2 of Season 4 premiered on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT on Starz. The final episodes of the series then debut weekly on Fridays through October 4. Part 1 uncovered unanswered high-stakes questions. Part 2 of the final season showcases the adage "Like father, Like son." Tariq finds himself in an eerily similar situation, just like his late father, Ghost, stuck between a rock and a hard place, with the choice to leave the game or take over. Entrapped by Detective Carter, the Tejada family realizes their safety is not guaranteed. Monet fiercely fights for her family to become whole again, but is it too late? Noma is working her way to the top of the food chain. Meanwhile, her daughter, Anya, gets too close to the game, forcing Noma to think twice about her actions.
