In a series of monthly one-hour specials, POP INNOVATORS takes an in-depth look at the lives and careers of the most influential names in pop culture. These innovators use their own words, revealing their history, recent projects, and driving forces. Plus, they're joined by family, friends, and colleagues, who share their own perspectives. The first program, which premiered on Sunday, July 14 at 8pm ET/PT on E!, featured will.i.am, who was joined by those in his trust circle, including Fergie, apl.de.ap, Taboo, Red Foo, Jimmy Iovine, and friends from the old neighborhood. While music was the spring board for this tremendous talent, will has taken his forward-thinking attitude into technology, politics, education, space travel and more. POP INNOVATORS returned on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT with a program highlighting the life and successes of Steve Jobs.
