Plot Synopsis

This reality series follows four women who juggle family lives with their dangerous jobs working for the Sheriff's Office. On duty, the female officers bust gangs, chase cars and go undercover in sting operations; off the clock, they are mothers, sisters and wives who maintain homes and raise families. These women worked for Sheriff's Offices in Broward County, FL (Season 1 & 6); Maricopa County, AZ (Season 2), which has Phoenix as its county seat and a population of nearly 4 million people; Memphis, TN (Season 3); Dallas, TX (Seasons 4 & 7); and Cincinnati, OH (Season 5). After six seasons in two years on TLC, POLICE WOMEN returned for its seventh season after a 1.5-year hiatus, premiering on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10pm ET on a new network, OWN: Orpah Winfrey Network. In Season 7, this series returned to Dallas, once again following Sgt. Tracy Jones, but this time, she's joined by three new colleagues: Senior Corporal Cheryl Matthews, Det. Angela Nordyke, and Officer Yvette Gonzales.
