Plot Synopsis

Using re-creations, first-person interviews, and archival photos, POISONED PASSIONS chronicles salacious stories of star-crossed lovers, as told from each woman's point-of-view. Each 60-minute episode follows the tumultuous romance of one of these women: aspiring model Vicki Morgan, who is lured into a sadmasochistic underworld by millionaire Alfred Bloomingdale, ultimately leading to her murder; a woman who falls in love with a swinging partner, finding herself involved in a murder mystery; an 18-year-old woman from Georgia, who finds herself descending into a dark world after finding out her husband is a mobster; a devoted wife and devout Baptist woman, who engages in an affair with her pastor and whose husband is found dead; and more women who fall in love with the wrong guy.
