Plot Synopsis

Mark Burk is a homeless, former pro golfer who is trying to make it through the Champions Tour Qualifying School while picking up the pieces of his life, getting a job and dealing with a legal battle against his ex-girlfriend. Mark grew up playing golf, and he even studied under world-class instructors, including Ben Doyle, Jim Flick, Peter Kostis, and Kip Puterbaugh. After playing various pro tournaments and spending a year on the Sunshine Tour in South Africa, Mark became a golf instructor and Hollywood consultant -- he taught Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman to swing a club for SWORDFISH. In 2008, he became homeless due to a remarkably bad turn of events, including an alleged domestic violence dispute with then girlfriend, supermodel Beverly Johnson. On his journey through Q-School and rebuilding his life, Mark is joined by: Matthew Gawn, a counselor at Coachella Rescue Mission; Derek Goldstein, a long-time friend and Mark's caddy during Q-school; and Richard Greenwood, Marks best friend.
