Plot Synopsis

In a sleepy Georgia town, a random act of violence sets off an unexpected chain of events for 30-year-old Andy Oliver and her mother Laura. Desperate for answers, Andy embarks on a dangerous journey across America, drawing her towards the dark, hidden heart of her family, as she pieces together her mother's dark past. Andy's 30th birthday lunch is interrupted by a shocking act of violence. After her mom's stunning response goes viral, a threat emerges in their home. Forced to flee in the night, Andy prepares to navigate the long journey to Maine without a GPS. Feeling caught in a web of lies, Andy searches for answers on her own.
