Each week, Hasan investigates the larger trends shaping our fragmented world. On Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the first two episodes of PATRIOT ACT:

"Saudi Arabia": In the wake of journalist Jamal Khashoggi's death, Hasan exposes grim truths about Saudi Arabia and the charismatic crown prince known as MBS.

"Affirmative Action": Hasan breaks down how a lawsuit by Asian American students against Harvard could kill affirmative action, and where a conservative activist fits in.

After a two-month beak, PATRIOT ACT WITH HASAN MINHAJ returned with new episodes on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, kicking off what Netflix called Volume 2 of the series. In this new episode, "Censorship in China," after addressing his Saudi Arabia controversy, Hasan highlights censorship in China and how a #MeToo movement has emerged despite government controls.

PATRIOT ACT WITH HASAN MINHAJ returned with a third batch of episodes on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the first episode of Volume 3. In the premiere, "Brazil, Corruption and the Rainforest," Hasan details new threats to the Amazon rainforest and indigenous people in Brazil, then discusses the crucial upcoming Philippines election. A new episode debuts each Sunday.

Netflix released the first episode of Volume 4 of PATRIOT ACT WITH HASAN MINHAJ on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. In the season opener, "Video Games & Labor," video games are bigger than ever, but the people who make them are often exploited. Hasan takes a look at the darker side of the gaming industry.

Volume 5 of PATRIOT ACT WITH HASAN MINHAJ was released on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the first episode. New appears start streaming on subsequent Sundays. In the season opener, "Mental Health," Hasan discusses how insurance companies get away with denying coverage to Americans who could mental health care the most.

The sixth volume of PATRIOT ACT WITH HASAN MINHAJ premiered on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the season opener. In the first new episode, "What Happens If You Can't Pay Rent?," millions of Americans struggle to pay rent during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Hasan looks at how this could lead to a widespread eviction crisis.
