Plot Synopsis

In San Francisco, after their parents die in a car accident caused by a drunk driver, the five Salinger siblings are forced to live on their own, with the oldest son, 24-year-old Charlie, appointed the guardian of his brothers and sisters. Their new situation means putting aside personal goals to help make ends meet and keep the family together. Over the course of six seasons family members and their friends dealt with a myriad of emotional social issues including alcoholism, depression, cancer, custody battles, unwed pregnancy, marriage, sexuality, adultery and abusive relationships.

On Monday, February 4, 2019 Freeform announced that it has picked up to series (10 episodes) of the reboot of fan-favorite PARTY OF FIVE from the original creators, Amy Lippman and Chris Keyser. The one-hour drama will follow the five Acosta children (fka Buendia) as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported to Mexico. The series stars Brandon Larracuente as Emilio, Emily Tosta as Lucia, Niko Guardado as Beto and Elle Paris Legaspi as Valentina. The pilot was co-written by Lippman, Keyser and newcomer Michal Zebede. "PARTY OF FIVE embodies the heart and soul of what it means to be a family in the most trying of times.
