Plot Synopsis
From the producers of JERSEY SHORE, this one-hour reality series follows a group of southern young adults, as they converge on their summer-vacation spot, Murrells Inlet in South Carolina, where they live together in one house, work hard, and party even harder. During their summer together, PARTY DOWN SOUTH chronicles the lives of these eight people: Josh Murray, a 31-year-old from Louise, MS, who always ends up in a fight, even though this 300-lb lovable guy claims he's never the instigator; Lyle Boudreaux, a 28-year-old from Lafayette, LA, who's a momma's boy and a down-home gentleman with a Cajun swagger; Ryan 'Daddy' Richards, a 33-year-old from Orange Beach, AL, who is a ladies' man never willing to leave home without his beer funnel; Walt Windham, a 26-year-old from Frankfort, KY, who is a drifter unable to say no to a dare; Lauren White, a 21-year-old from Pineville, LA, who parties hard and likes to get her extensions dirty; Mattie Breaux, a 24-year-old from Gheens, LA, who, as a former beauty queen, loves being the center of attention; Taylor 'Lil Bit' Wright, a 23-year-old from Rockingham, NC, who isn't afraid to stand her ground with her two fave accessories -- her guns and her Bible; and Tiffany Heinen, a 25-year-old from Eunice, LA, who is a farmer's daughter not afraid of speaking her mind. On Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, PARTY DOWN SOUTH returned for a 13-episode second season, as the cast descended upon Athens, GA for Season 2. After a life-changing summer in South Carolina in Season 1, the group reignites old friendships and flames in a new city -- and even makes some new connections along the way -- as Season 2 brings new love triangles, tougher quarrels and more family bonding than ever. In addition to partying with the locals in Athens, the group also heads to Mexico to hang in Cabo San Lucas for a spring break that no one will forget. On Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, PARTY DOWN SOUTH returned for its 11-episode third season, as the crew takes the party to Biloxi, MS. After surviving a whole lot of drama in Athens, GA, the tight-knit gang is closer than ever and itching to get back to showing everyone how to party down South. This year Mattie brought along Hannah (aka Hott Dogg), an energetic friend and fellow Louisianimal, to join in the fun. How will Walt, Lyle, Daddy and Murray respond to this sexy, new roommate? Will she be able to earn Tiffany and Lauren's friendship? One thing is for certain -- this summer the partying will be out of control and the Gulf Coast will never be the same. In the season premiere, "Back in the Saddle," the roommates arrive in Mississippi for another wild vacation, they quickly realize they're one member a Lil' Bit short of the original group. But the party must go on though, especially for Daddy, who pursues not one, but two of his roommates. While Tiffany and Lauren seem unsure about their new roommate Hott Dogg, the guys are pretty excited about the energy and sexiness she brings to the house. Immediately following the Season 3 opener, CMT broadcast "Talk of Shame," a half-hour special hosted by Christine Lakin, as the cast recap the show and provide even more drama. Then, fans can watch MORE TALK OF SHAME an all-new digital after show on CMT.com and the CMT app, starting at 10:30pm. On Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, CMT premiered the 10-episode fourth season of PARTY DOWN SOUTH, as Daddy, Lyle, Murray, Walt, Hannah 'Hott Dogg,' Lauren, Mattie and Tiffany reunite in St. Petersburg, FL. Season 4 opens with one of the most heated fights in the show's history when Tiffany literally goes head-to-head with Hannah over her new boyfriend. In between the explosive fights and blooming relationships, an old flame comes into the picture resulting in a life-changing event for Lyle. Meanwhile, Walt and Murray find themselves hitting it off with the women of St. Pete, and 'Martha' decides to crash her own birthday party. PARTY DOWN SOUTH returned for its fifth and final season on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT on CMT. After leaving their mark on Murrells Inlet, Athens, Biloxi and St. Petersburg, the beloved gang heads to Savannah for an unforgettable, final vacation. In the fifth season, Lyle and fiance Santana near their breaking point when rumors of her infidelity are sparked by his roommates. Tears are shed and punches are thrown as everyone tries to get to the bottom of the situation. Meanwhile, Mattie may have finally found a guy who can keep up with her, and Daddy is determined to leave this vacation on a high note -- with as many marlins in pretzels as possible. In the season opener, "Taxicab Confessions," the crew arrives at their beautiful new vacation house in Savannah, Georgia, where Lauren and Tiffany struggle to keep an explosive secret from Lyle; meanwhile, Murray and Hannah must console Mattie after Daddy calls her Martha

On Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT, CMT premiered the series finale of PARTY DOWN SOUTH. In the series ender, "Last Call," the cast says goodbye to Savannah and to each other for the last time, and the crew buries a time capsule in the backyard. Meanwhile, old wounds open up between Tiffany and Bubba, and Santana attempts to win back Lyle. Then at 10pm, CMT debuted a new one-hour reunion show, "The Final Funnel," where nothing is off limits as the crew gets together one last time to share their favorite memories and relive their wildest moments from all five vacations together. No hook-up, fist fight, or crazy night of partying will be left unexposed. Lyle reveals his relationship status and the cast takes part in an emotional final funnel.
