Plot Synopsis
Come on get happy! THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY is a half-hour comedy series that follows Shirley, her musical children and their manager Reuben as they ride their iconic multi-colored school bus around the United States during their constant tour in California, Las Vegas, and beyond. During the '70s, The Partridge Family became one of the top-selling recording acts of the time. "I Think I Love You," the song recorded by the kids for a record label demo in the series premiere, became a #1 hit on the Billboard charts two months after the series debuted, and remained in the top spot for three weeks from November 21 through the week beginning December 5, 1970. Other hits included: "Doesn't Somebody Want to Be Wanted" (#6 in early 1971); "I'll Meet You Halfway" (#9 in spring 1971); "I Woke Up in Love This Morning" (summer 1971); and "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do."
