Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Joey Fatone, PARENTS JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND is a one-hour reality series that gives parents and their kids a chance to walk a day in each other's shoes, experiencing firsthand the demands of their lives. Parents endure the pressures of their kids' busy, over-scheduled lives, while the kids see what it's like to be responsible for the variety of things their parents do on a daily basis -- at home and at work. Each 60-minute episode features one family, including the series premiere, "The Touchdown Maker & Cupcake Baker," during which Joey swaps the lives of a 13-year-old and his underappreciated mom of five. While son tackles taking care of five kids and a demanding job at the railroad, mom must power through chores and football practice. In addition to hosting, Joey Fatone is also an executive producer of this series.
