Plot Synopsis

Adapted from Katori Hall's play "Pussy Valley," P-VALLEY is a one-hour drama series that follows the lives of strip club dancers working down in the Dirty Delta. Down deep in the Mississippi Delta lies an oasis of grit and glitter in a rough patch of human existence where beauty can be hard to find. This southern-fried, hour-long drama tells the kaleidoscopic story of a little-strip-club-that-could and the big characters who come through its doors -- the hopeful, the lost, the broken, the ballers, the beautiful, and the damned. Trap music meets film noir in this lyrical and atmospheric series that dares to ask what happens when small-town folk dream beyond the boundaries of the Piggly Wiggly and the pawnshop. All eight episodes have female directors: Barbara Brown, Tamra Davis, Karena Evans, Sydney Freeland, Geeta V. Patel, Kimberly Peirce, Millicent Shelton, and Tasha Smith. P-VALLEY premieres at 9pm ET/PT on Sunday, July 12, 2020 on Starz, moving to its regular timeslot -- 8pm on Sundays -- the following week.

The sophomore season of P-VALLEY debuted on Starz on a special night -- Friday, June 3, 2022 at 9pm -- before moving to its regular timeslot (Sundays at 10pm) beginning June 12. When darkness descends upon Chucalissa, errybody and they mama must fight tooth and talon to survive. While some take flight to perilous new heights, others dig in their stilettos and stand their ground no matter the cost. Back at The Pynk, Autumn and Uncle Clifford grapple for the throne as new blood shakes up the locker room. Meanwhile, with the casino's fate hanging in the balance, the local political machine kicks into overdrive. In these unprecedented times, death and danger lurk around every corner.

On Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT, Starz premiered "Mississippi Rule," the Season 2 finale of P-VALLEY. New beginnings and endings abound in Chucalissa in the big finale.
