Plot Synopsis

Ed Sanders and Marcus Hunt battle against each other to determine whether a task can be performed better using a manual or gut instinct. With opposing points of view and conflicting methods of practice -- Marcus works strictly from the rule book, while Ed uses only his instincts to figure it out -- they attempt to operate dangerous and powerful machinery and technology. In each 30-minute episode of OWNER'S MANUAL, Ed and Marcus are presented with one challenge, such as: flying stunt planes over the Pacific Ocean and mastering aerobatic maneuvers; attaching rail cars to a 142-ton locomotive; driving high-performance off-road vehicles in a race through the Nevada desert; brewing a beer at the Kona Brewing Co. in Hawaii; and much more.
