Plot Synopsis

THE OUTPOST is a one-hour drama series that follows Talon, the lone survivor of a race called Blackbloods. Years after her entire village is destroyed by a gang of brutal mercenaries, Talon travels to a lawless fortress on the edge of the civilized world, as she tracks the killers of her family. Her journey takes her to a desperate Outpost on the edge of the realm, where she finally confronts one of the men who killed her family. On her trek, Talon discovers she possesses a mysterious supernatural power that she must learn to control in order to save herself, and defend the world against a fanatical religious dictator.

The sophomore season of THE OUTPOST premiered on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT on The CW. Having defeated Dred and retaken the Outpost, Talon and Gwynn prepare for war. Talon delves deeper into demon summoning, while Gwynn recruits allies. The Prime Order trinity known as "The Three" reveal mysterious powers as they send spies, assassins, and a devastating weapon to the Outpost. As Talon uncovers the legacy of her people, she must decide who to trust, and separate her real friends from her enemies before the Prime Order attacks. In the season opener, "We Only Kill to Survive," Talon summons a new threat, recalling the ghosts of her childhood. Meanwhile, while Garret hunts for Dred, Gwynn prepares the Outpost for war. Lastly, a messenger brings devastating news.

Season 3 of THE OUTPOST premiered on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on The CW. In the season opener, "For the Sins of Your Ancestors," Zed forces humans to work a mining camp as Talon struggles to keep peace. A sassy genius invades Janzo's lab. A dark Priestess unites the Blackbloods.

The fourth and final season of THE OUTPOST premiered on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on The CW. In the season opener, "Someone Has to Rule," Garret wants Talon to take the throne, while a mysterious assassin seeks revenge. Falista mourns for Tobin but hatches a new plan. Zed wants Wren to be High Priestess and uncovers a secret about her.

On Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT, The CW premiered "Nothing Lasts Forever," the series finale of THE OUTPOST. Talon and her friends battle against the gods. Janzo, Wren and Munt fight to save the Kahvi. A ruler is crowned. The episode was written by Jason Faller and directed by Milan Todorovic.
