Plot Synopsis
Based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman and artist Paul Azaceta, OUTCAST is a one-hour supernatural horror series that follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now, with the help of the Reverend Anderson, a preacher who has personal demons of his own, Kyle embarks on a journey to find answers and regain the normal life he lost. But what Kyle discovers could change his fate -- and the fate of the world -- forever, beginning with Joshua Austin, an eight-year-old who lives across town from Kyle. To his family's dismay, he appears to be in the clutches of demonic possession, but there's something very different about this possession and its connection to Kyle. Season 2 of OUTCAST premiered on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT on Cinemax. In the second season, Kyle's struggle will grow into a fight for all of his hometown, as he discovers the haunting secrets of his own past. The new season opens with the "Bad Penny" episode, as Kyle finds the possession phenomenon to be more widespread than he had imagined; Reverend Anderson struggles with guilt over his actions; Megan and Holly deal with the aftermath of Mark's tragic death.
