Plot Synopsis
Narrated by Cate Blanchett, OUR LIVING WORLD is a four-part documentary that spans the globe to showcase the extraordinary creatures and ecosystems -- great and small -- that work together to help restore and sustain the living world on Earth. OUR LIVING WORLD debuted on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 on Netflix, which released all four 50-minute episodes:
"Nature's Amazing Network": Rhinos in Nepal, reindeer in the Arctic and agoutis in the Amazon -- every creature, big and small, is connected to nature's vast network of life.
"The Rhythm of Life": Timing is crucial. From the setting of the sun to the passing of the seasons and the phases of the moon, nature works best when it's in sync with life.
"Breaking Point": The impact of climate change is now impossible to ignore. As the natural world is thrown off balance, the call for action is more urgent than ever.
"Road to Recovery": While bushfires and poaching leave devastation in their wake, the reintroduction of a predator breathes new life into wetlands overrun by rodents.
