Plot Synopsis
In this mostly silent, animated series, Oggy is just your average blue cat who loves to eat, watch TV, and occasionally clean his house. Unfortunately for Oggy, he lives with three cockroaches on a mission to cause tons of mayhem. Joey, Marky and Dee Dee -- named after three members of the American punk band the Ramones -- may be small, but these bugs know how to make a big mess. From raiding Oggy's fridge to hijacking trains, this trio turns Oggy's simple life upside down. Oggy is joined on his adventures by: Jack, Oggy's cousin, who is his complete opposite; Monica, Oggy's twin sister, who is romantically lnked to Jack; Bob, Oggy's neighbor; and Olivia, Oggy's new neighbor, who is his love interest. Within a week of its world premiere in France, OGGY AND THE COCKROACHES aired in the United States on FOX, starting on Saturday, September 12, 1998 at 11:30am ET/PT as part of the FOX KIDS programming block.

Nickelodeon aired the U.S. premiere of the fourth season of OGGY AND THE COCKROACHES on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 3:30pm ET/PT. The first half-hour episode featured three stories: "Olivia" & "Run, Olivia, Run!" & "The Lighthouse Keeper." Olivia, a new neighbor, has just moved in next door and Oggy falls head over heels in love. Olivia is cute as a button and charming as can be, but what is she going to think when she finds out that there are roaches in Oggy's house? Then, in the second story, Olivia decides to enter the marathon. Oggy posts himself along the way with water and food but the roaches steal his bag. Oggy chases them all over the city to find them and in the end, much to his surprise, wins the marathon! In the the show's third story, Oggy and Jack have to sit in for a Breton friend of theirs who has to attend a bagpipe contest. They become lighthouse keepers for the day. But the roaches fiddle around with the lights and the optics and very quickly, the sea all around becomes inextricable chaos for all the boats in the area. Poor old Oggy has to look after the mess all by himself because Jack has a dizzy spell and is paralyzed.
