Plot Synopsis

Based on Jessie Sima's award-winning picture book of the same name, NOT QUITE NARWHAL is a quarter-hour animated series that centers on curious and fun-loving Kelp, who has always believed he's a narwhal like the rest of his family under the sea, until the day he makes the most amazing discovery -- he's actually a unicorn! Rather than choose one or the other, Kelp embraces being both a narwhal and a unicorn, juggling his day-to-day life as he figures out how to navigate his two worlds: the ocean and land. The entire 27-episode first season of NOT QUITE NARWHAL, a series for preschoolers, dropped on Monday, June 19, 2023 on Netflix.

Season 2 of NOT QUITE NARWHAL premiered on Monday, January 22, 2024 on Netflix, which released all 12 episodes of the new season. From the ocean to the land, curious Kelp learns more about himself by going on fun-filled adventures with his unicorn friends and narwhal family. In the season opener, "Best Friend's Day; The White Whale," Kelp and Pixie are BFFs...until they have a disagreement. Can they fix it? Then, it's Ollie's dream to meet the White Whale, but he can't swim!
