Plot Synopsis
Based on the true story of Noele Gordon, one of British TV's most famous faces in the 1960s and 1970s, NOLLY is a three-part drama series that explores her unceremonious firing, which became front-page news. Written by Russell T. Davies, the series explores how the establishment turns on women who refuse to play by the rules, revealing Gordon's most tumultuous years and providing a heart-breaking portrait of a forgotten icon. NOLLY made its U.S. debut on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 9pm on PBS (check local listings). Episodes include:
Episode 1 (U.S. debut on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 9pm): At the height of her fame, British soap opera star Noele "Nolly" Gordon is suddenly fired from her hit series CROSSROADS without warning -- but why?
Episode 2 (U.S. debut on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 9pm): Nolly's last day on CROSSROADS is approaching, and she is desperate to know what will happen to her character, but her farewell is so shocking that nobody in the cast could have predicted it.
Episode 3 (U.S. debut on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 9pm): Nolly is working in the cut-throat world of theater, still haunted by the question: why was she fired from CROSSROADS? But when an unexpected answer arrives, can she seize the chance to reprise her role as Meg for one final curtain call?
