Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Melissa McCarthy, NOBODIES is a half-hour comedy series that revolves around three Groundlings alums -- Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf and Rachel Ramras, who are also writers and executive producers for this series -- as they try desperately to land one of their famous friends for a feature script that they have developed, so that they, too, can rise to fame in Hollywood. After years toiling away writing on a kids cartoon, "The Fartleman," Groundlings alums Larry, Rachel and Hugh finally get their big break: A chance to pitch their film script, "Mr. First Lady," at Paramount. Guest stars in the series opener include Jason Bateman, Maja Rudolph, Jim Rash, and Nat Faxon. The 12-episode second season of NOBODIES premiered on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 10-11pm ET/PT on its new network: the Paramount Network. After airing on Paramount Network for its first two episodes of the new season, NOBODIES moved back to TV Land on April 12 for the remainder of Season 2. In the one-hour season opener, "Open Dorf Policy; Swimmin Pools, TV Stars," Larry, Rachel and Hugh attempt to bounce back after the disappointment of Mr. First Lady. A joke about a sitcom based upon Larry's life becomes more than a joke when Ben and Melissa get involved. Season 2 features appearances by Kristin Wiig, Sia, Leslie Bibb, Cedric The Entertainer, Michael MacDonald, Ben Falcone, and Melissa McCarthy.

On Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 10-11pm ET/PT, TV Land premiered the Season 2 finale of NOBODIES. In the one-hour season ender, "Getting a Sign; Meeting Steven Spielberg," Larry, Rachel and Hugh are presented with an exciting opportunity; an encounter with a former flame sends Hugh to Phoenix; while Rachel and Larry prepare for their meeting with Steven Spielberg, Hugh is on a mission of his own in Phoenix.
