Plot Synopsis
In a world full of superheroes, this group of hapless heroes would rather get drunk at the local pub, read the New Power Express looking for their names, and bitch about everyone else. The local pub is called The Fortress -- a nod to Superman's Fortress of Solitude -- and it enforces two strict rules: nobody uses special powers and nobody wears costumes. The Hotness has heat powers, and he's fame hungry, insecure, and slightly flabby. Timebomb can see the future for up to 60 seconds, and he's a depressed alcoholic ex-junkie who hates almost everybody -- including himself. Excelsor has pretty much every superhero power imaginable -- great strength, super stamina, the ability to fly, and the energy to create huge forcefields -- but he's the bane of The Hotness's life. Electroclash can control electricity, giving her the ability to control machines with her voice, and she's had sexual dalliances with The Hotness, leaving them with an antagonistic friendship. She-Force is kind and enthusiastic, and she's loyal and caring to her friends, giving them a shoulder to cry on. DirecTV aired the U.S. premiere of NO HEROICS on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 9pm on The 101 Network.
