Plot Synopsis

Host Nigella Lawson brings the spirit of Italy into the kitchen, using ingredients available in any supermarket. In each 30-minute episode, Nigella prepares one full meal, incuding these dishes: a mid-week family feast of tagliata and eggs in purgatory; Italian roast chicken, served with a saffron orzotto & coffee ice cream; stuffed pork loin, spelt spaghetti & sambuca kisses; butterflied leg of lamb and baby aubergines with oregano & red onion; shortcut sausage meatball supper, yoghurt pot cake & tiramisini; and red plum and amaretti crumble, farro risotto & chocolate pasta. Cooking Channel aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:30am ET/7:30am PT.
