Plot Synopsis

Bryan and David are a Beverly Hills couple with successful careers and a committed and loving partnership, but they're missing a baby in their lives. Goldie, a single mother of precocious 8-year-old Shania, is a Midwestern waitress who moves to Los Angeles to escape her dead-end life and small-minded grandmother, Jane, but she's missing a family when she arrives. Just when Bryan and David think the stars will never align, Goldie comes into their lives, where she can become the guys' surrogate and they can become her surrogate family. NBC aired a sneak-peek episode of this series on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 10pm, one day before the show's official series premiere.
