Plot Synopsis

NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING is the second largest pro wrestling organization in the world, and over the years it has featured wrestling superstars Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, and Brock Lesnar (IWGP Heavyweight Champ 2005-2007). Today, the organization features fan favorites like Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Kazuchika Okada. Now, UFC Heavyweight and former pro wrestler Josh Barnett and a commentator -- Mauro Ranallo and later Jim Ross -- call classic matches from NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING. On Friday, January 15, 2016 at 9pm ET/6pm PT, AXS TV premiered a new season of NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING, with the first round of the 2015 New Japan Cup, featuring Kota Ibushi, Tetsuya Naito, Kazuchika Okada, and Hiroshi Tanahashi. This season also featured episodes highlighting matches from the Invasion Attack, HINOKUNI, Best of the Super Juniors 22, Dominion 7.5, G1 Climax 25 and more.

Legendary pro wrestling commentator Jim Ross joined Barnett beginning Friday, March 4, 2016 at 9pm ET/6pm PT. In Ross' first episode, he and Barnett called the action for matches from Wrestling Dontaku 2015.
