Plot Synopsis
In hopes of providing a better life for his wife and three kids, Marty Weaver bought a home in Hidden Hills, a gated New Jersey townhome community with its own golf course. It's clear from day one that the residents of Hidden Hills are a little different. For starters, their new neighbors all have pro-athlete names like Reggie Jackson, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Dick Butkus and Larry Bird. Over dinner, Marty and his family discover that their neighbors receive nourishment through their eyes by reading books, rather than eating. The Weavers soon learn that the entire community is comprised of aliens from Zabvron, where the men bear children and everyone cries green goo from their ears. The Zabvronians have been stationed on Earth for the past 10 years, disguised as humans, awaiting instructions from home, and the Weavers are the first humans they've had the opportunity to know. As it turns out, the pressures of marriage, parenthood, and family are not exclusive to planet Earth. Season 2 of THE NEIGHBORS debuted on ABC on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 8:30pm ET/PT. In the season opener, which featured Jerry Springer as a guest star, Amber and Reggie revealed to their families that they've been dating, forcing Jackie to call for a family conference at which both families vote on whether or not the couple can stay together. Later in the second season, Larry sets out to pull an epic prank on the Weavers after they explain to him what April Fools' Day is.

Meanwhile, Reggie must also decide if he wants to stay himself or turn human, and the families see two new visitors arriving at the neighborhood (Candace Cameron and Scott Weinger reunite from FULL HOUSE guest star). George Takei also guest stars as Grandfather
