Plot Synopsis

NEEDLES & PINS is a reality series that follows tattoo artist and activist Grace Neutral, as she travels around the world to explore the journey of tattoo art from subculture to global phenomenon. Viceland debuted this series on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 10-11:30pm, showing back-to-back episodes. In the one-hour series opener (10-11pm), Grace reluctantly heads to the Las Vegas tattoo scene to see if she can find an authentic tattoo experience in a place where you can buy a tattoo and a taco in the same shop. Then, in the night's second new episode (11-11:30pm), Grace explores South Korea's underground tattoo scene to discover how younger generations are challenging traditional views of body image. In subsequent episodes, Grace visits Los Angeles, New Zealand, Japan, the UK, and more.
