Plot Synopsis

THE NATE & JEREMIAH HOME PROJECT is a one-hour docu-series that follows Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, as they meet with their clients to hear family stories and help decide which sentimental possessions to keep, repurpose or donate. Once rooms and items are sorted, the duo renovate the house into a personal and beautiful home for everyone. "We believe in telling people's stories through their homes," said Nate. "We help figure out what matters most to them because filling a home with things that have meaning is the most important element of design." In the series opener, "The Make Mom Proud Project," Nate and Jeremiah venture to Queens, New York, to help two sisters keep the charm and fond memories from their childhood home alive while also giving the mid-century property an open floor plan, a fresh color palette and contemporary design. During the renovation, treasured family keepsakes, such as their mother's 1945 Steinway grand piano and antique Italian family heirlooms, get a prominent display.

Season 2 of THE NATE & JEREMIAH HOME PROJECT debuted on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. Inspired by the sentimental pieces, Nate and Jeremiah continue to use their design expertise to transform spaces into dream homes that truly reflect the people that live in them. In the premiere episode, "The Home Is Where the Art Is Project," the design duo meet new clients Mike and Lisa, who live with their four kids in a cherished -- but cramped -- home in East Rockaway, New York. With a limited budget, the duo must work within the existing floor plan to give the family of six a functional home with dedicated spaces for the kids and parents. After a massive edit of their old belongings, Nate and Jeremiah help the homeowners determine which items matter most, including the kids' artwork, a special bookcase handmade by Lisa's dad and an heirloom curio cabinet, as they plan the full overhaul of the kitchen, dining room and basement. In the end, Nate and Jeremiah deliver a stunning and personalized renovation that embodies their top design principle: to create beautiful homes that tell a family's personal story.

On Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered "Live with What You Love," the season finale of THE NATE & JEREMIAH HOME PROJECT. After living in a small one-bedroom apartment, a couple purchases their first home together with big dreams of filling it with a family of their own. Nate and Jeremiah give the aging home a modern makeover with a family-friendly, relaxed vibe throughout.
