MYSTERIES AT THE NATIONAL PARKS chronicles haunting and mysterious stories about America's network of national parks. Each half-hour episode features a different park, including: Glacier National Park in Montana, where some believe the random flashes of light are evidence of extraterrestrials -- but a trail of clues reveals the technology causing them may be Nazi in origin; Pennsylvania's Gettysburg National Military Park, where ghost sightings, a secret government time-travel experiment, and Native American battles suggest it's a place of unusual power; Puerto Rico's El Yunque National Forest, the fabled Chupacabra Island, which is linked to various UFO sightings and a secret US government research facility; California's Shasta National Forest, where unexplained disappearances, a mysterious death and a Karuk Indian legend are linked to a race of superhumans; California's Joshua Tree National Park, where a Bigfoot-like creature and UFO sightings suggest it may be ground zero for alien genetic experiments; Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where black magic, mysterious deaths and violent fireballs are believed to be the work of Pele, the fire goddess; Grand Canyon National Park, where ghosts of a bizarre plane crash and a mysterious underground city point to powerful forces at work; and Florida's Everglades National Park, where a tragic plane crash, shocking murders and a mysterious python infestation suggest a dark, evil power.

On Friday, May 22, 2015 from 10-11pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the season finale of MYSTERIES AT THE NATIONAL PARKS, showing back-to-back new episodes. In the night's first episode (10pm), "Portal to the Underworld," ghosts of a bizarre plane crash and a mysterious underground city point to powerful forces at work inside Grand Canyon National Park. Then, in the season finale (10:30pm), "Flight to Hell," a tragic plane crash, shocking murders and a mysterious python infestation suggest a dark, evil power deep in the heart of Florida's Everglades National Park.
