Plot Synopsis

Months after magic has returned to Equestria, Sunny Starscout and her new pony friends are excited to celebrate their new lives on Maretime Bay Day! But while their group may have adjusted to magic's return, plenty of Unicorns and Pegasi are still having trouble mastering their powers, frustrating the non-magical Earth Ponies who wish to return to how things were before. This division worries Zipp, who notices that the Unity Crystals have begun glitching, disrupting magic for everyone. Zipp begins investigating, discovering the glitches seem to be happening more and more, their chaos further dividing the ponies of Maretime Bay. She tries to convince her friends that the Unity Crystals are acting strange, but they think she's worrying over nothing and don't believe her. That is, until they witness a Pegasus falling out of the sky onto an Earth Pony themselves. This spurs outrage from the Earth Ponies, who threaten to boycott Maretime Bay Day if the town isn't made a magic-free zone. Now on her side, Zipp explains to her friends her discovery that magic is glitching when ponies aren't treating each other with kindness. Their mission now is to throw such an amazing Bay Day that everypony comes together in harmony to stabilize magic again. But as the Earth Ponies air their frustrations with the inclusion of Pegasi and Unicorns in a holiday they see as their own, the glitches escalate, bringing about a massive magical storm that threatens to swallow the town. In the end, it's only the power of Sunny and her friends working together that saves the day. As magic stabilizes, the Earth Ponies discover they now too have powers! Feeling included and having seen the error of their ways, they apologize and come together with the Unicorns and Pegasi in harmony to celebrate the rest of Maretime Bay Day together. MY LITTLE PONY: MAKE YOUR MARK was developed for television by Gillian Berrow, who has written several episodes for various series in the MY LITTLE PONY franchise.

On Thursday, May 26, 2022, Netflix released a 44-minute animated special in anticipation of the series debut in September 2022. In this preview, something's wrong with Equestria's magic, and it's throwing the annual Maretime Bay Day festival into a tailspin! Can Zipp figure out what's going on?

MY LITTLE PONY: MAKE YOUR MARK officially debuted on Monday, September, 26 2022 with eight 23-minute episodes. Music and magic return as the ponies learn more about the power of their Cutie Marks. But a crafty villain is waiting in the wings with an evil plot! In the series opener, "Izzy Does It," thanks to Pipp, a colorful birthday gift Izzy made for Sunny has gone viral; every pony wants one -- but poor Izzy's creativity can't keep up!

Netflix released "Winter Wishday," a 45-minute special as the third chapter of MY LITTLE PONY: MAKE YOUR MARK on Monday, November 21, 2022. It's Winter Wishday! Can the Mane 5 celebrate their holiday traditions and still make it back in time to exchange gifts under the Wishing Star for Sunny? Voice cast includes: Jenna Warren, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, JJ Gerber, Ana Sani, Aj Bridel, Rob Tinkler, Bahia Watson, and Athena Karkanis.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, Netflix released seven more episodes MY LITTLE PONY: MAKE YOUR MARK, calling the collection "Chapter 4." The evil Opaline is on a mission to steal the ponies' Cutie Marks and become the most powerful Alicorn -- unless the Mane 5 can stop her in time! In the 45-minute season opener, "Bridlewoodstock," Pipp wants to throw a music festival at the Lumi-Bloom fields, but Izzy warns her that loud noises might attract the troublemaking Troggles. The remaining six episodes are each 23 minutes in duration.

Chapter 5 of MY LITTLE PONY: MAKE YOUR MARK dropped on Monday, September 18, 2023 on Netflix, which released all six episodes of the new season. Now that Opaline has captured Sparky's Dragonfire, the evil Alicorn is stronger than ever -- and she won't stop until she has all the power of Equestria. In the season opener, "Cutie Blossom Bash," it's the annual Equestria Cutie Blossom Bash! But Misty feels nervous to be honored alongside all the other ponies who received their Cutie Marks.

Opaline has captured nearly all the power of Equestria, and time's running out! Can the ponies team up with the dragons to save magic and restore peace? In the season opener, "The Isle of Scaly," the ponies visit the Isle of Scaly to ask the dragons to join their fight to stop Opaline... but the dragons aren't sure they should trust them.
