Plot Synopsis

MY GIANT LIFE is a one-hour reality series that follows a group of women who are seemingly too tall and lofty for the average-sized world, standing at six feet six inches and above. They are faced with challenges every day -- some because their extreme height makes performing seemingly mundane tasks like loading the dishwasher and getting into a car extremely difficult and others because the eyes of society are not as friendly to women of their stature. As a young lady that is a foot taller than the average female, life is anything but easy. From dating difficulties to simply going to the grocery store without stares, the stories in each episode get right to the heart of what it means to live life blessed with an extra foot or more. The four women in Season 1 are: Colleen 'Coco', a 36-year-old former pro volleyball player, who faces the struggles of moving home to San Diego, settling into her new apartment, and tricking it out with the "tall hacks" that she uses to customize her space; Haleigh, a 23-year-old professional volleyball player with a master's degree, who is ready to settle down and have a handful of kids with her much shorter, 32-year-old boyfriend, Bryan; Nancy, a 17-year-old high-school student from Cypress, TX, who is learning how to rise to the challenge of being exceptional as she figures out how to navigate life as a rising basketball superstar; Lindsay, the Guinness World Record holder for the Tallest Actress in a Leading Role, who is on a quest to locate her father and ask him why he left her when she was 11 years old. On Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, TLC premiered the season finale of MY GIANT LIFE, shortly after a four-hour marathon (4-8pm) of encore episodes. In the season ender, "The Shortest One in the House," Colleen looks for love; Haleigh's wedding day is not going as she planned; Lindsay auditions for a casting director; Nancy gets ready for prom. Season 2 of MY GIANT LIFE premiered on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on TLC, with two new women -- Katja and Lexie -- joining Haleigh, Lindsay, Nancy and Colleen. After her disastrous dating life in Season 1, Colleen has moved to Austin for a fresh start. But when she meets Will, she has to decide if she's willing to let him get past the friend zone. Last season, to her father's dismay, Haleigh married her much shorter, 32-year-old boyfriend, Bryan. Now, they're facing serious marital obstacles, and she is forced to choose between her husband and her family. Lindsay continues to actively pursuing a career in film and television and is willing to do whatever necessary to succeed... including plastic surgery. But will her destructive habits and a tumultuous past keep her from fulfilling her dreams? Now that Nancy is 18 years old she is ready to step out on her own. She knows that life will get better as soon as she gets to college to play basketball, but for now, her main focus is graduating and navigating life as a rising basketball superstar. Katja, standing at six feet eight inches tall, and her much shorter wife, Julie, five foot two, want to start a family. They have a lot of questions to answer: Who will carry the baby? Do they want the baby to be taller or shorter? And how will they decide on a sperm donor? When the stress of the decisions brings out the problems in their marriage they start to wonder if they are ready for this next chapter. Confident Lexie, who is six feet six inches tall, is getting married to a man stationed 2,500 miles away. Meanwhile everywhere she goes, men flirt with her. Will the distance be too much for them?

Season 3 of MY GIANT LIFE premiered on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT on TLC, as Haleigh, Alicia Jay, Katja, Lindsay, Krista and Coco will take viewers inside their everyday lives as they deal with issues that far surpass height than ever before. Haleigh, 6'7"and Bryan, 5'8", survived their first year of marriage and a cross-country move but, an unexpected pregnancy and news that Haleigh may face complications in the delivery room have the couple worried. Alicia Jay, 6'6" is tall, fabulous, and a thirty-five-year-old virgin. She is out to find a man who accepts that she's saving herself for marriage and that she is tall and proud of it. Katja, 6'9", and her wife Julie, 5'2", are ready for a baby, but are missing a key component - sperm! A disastrous meeting with potential sperm donors leaves them back at square one and wondering how they will ever complete their family in New York City. Lindsay, 6'9" is starting over in Las Vegas after a bad breakup. She finds someone to finally share clothes with in new roommate, 6'6" Krista. Will the tall roommates hit it off or does their height similarity leave them destined for disaster? Coco, 6'6", and her boyfriend, Wil, 5'10", are in love in Austin but when Coco says she wants to see other people, the couple's relationship is heavily strained.
