Plot Synopsis

MY FIRST HOME is a half-hour reality series that follows potential home buyers, as they endure the highs and lows of their first home purchase. Each 30-minute episode features a different homebuyer, including: Scott, a young bachelor, who was first looking for a party house but his perfect house changed in the middle of his search after he began seriously dating someone; lifelong bachelor Chris, who originally wants to purchase his first home in downtown Richmond, but follows his mom's advice and looks in the suburbs; Cyrstal and Pascal, who are currently live apart and are in a hurry to find their new home while their planning two weddings; and many more first-time home buyers.

MY FIRST HOME returned for its sixth season on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Noon ET/PT, as TLC showed back-to-back new episodes. In the Season 6 premiere, Ryan and Carrie, a hip and young twenty-something couple, are searching for a first home in Chicago, Illinois. Then, in the day's second episode, newlyweds Ryan and Naomi are looking for their first home in DePere, Wisconsin, but they can't agree on a budget -- and they both fall in love with a house they can't afford.
