Plot Synopsis

MY BIG ITALIAN ADVENTURE is a one-hour reality series that follows Lorraine Bracco, who takes a break from Hollywood for her next gig on the island of Sicily -- renovating a 200-year-old home she purchased for only one euro. In Sambuca di Sicilia, her new purchase lacks basic necessities and is full of structural issues, so she works with her contractor to transform the property into her dream vacation home. In the series opener, she enlists her close friends, including actress Angie Harmon, to help her transform the first floor. Then in the second episode, Lorraine takes her renovation to the next level and encounters a potentially devastating setback in her cellar. To keep her mind off the issue, she dives into DIY projects, only to receive an update that will have consequences for her entire house. Next, in the third episode, Lorraine rushes to put the finishing touches on her home before her family arrives in Sambuca di Sicilia, Italy. As the clock ticks down, she overcomes obstacles and narrowly avoids a kitchen disaster just in time to celebrate the home's completion.
