Hosted by LisaRaye, MURDER IN THE THIRST is a one-hour documentary series that explores scandalous and shocking true-crime stories. With stylized recreations of the crimes themselves and interviews with the real-life players involved, the series explores what pushes someone to murder. Each 60-minute episode focuses on a different crime, including the series premiere, "Who Killed the Queen of the Courtroom?," which centers on badass defense attorney Chiquita Tate, who is stabbed to death in her office, leading investigators to follow a trail of clues that begins with weave found in her hand. Who was so thirsty for her successful life that they'd kill her?

"Who Killed the Football Superstar?" (8pm): Sean Taylor is the hardest-hitting player in the NFL, with a contract worth millions. But when the devoted father and family man is killed during a home invasion, police discover a surprising suspect.

"Who Killed the Palm Beach Princess?" (9pm): After living large in a Florida mansion, socialite Lita McClinton is gunned down by a shooter disguised as a deliveryman. The search for the killer takes nearly 20 years, and the clues lead to money and infidelity.
