Plot Synopsis

After using stolen money to construct his very own Murder Castle, a hotel he used to rent rooms for visitors to Chicago World's Fair in 1893, Dr. H.H. Holmes exploited the influx of unsuspecting women to feed his dark desires. By May 1893, the World's Fair is in full swing, and Holmes is welcoming visitors to his hotel, a block-long structure designed to lure eager, young women into his clutches. Before long, Holmes makes each mysteriously vanish, never to be seen again. But when Holmes is forced to choose between his wife and mistress, his next victim might not be his easiest. With Holmes being identified as America's first serial killer -- and with detectives closing in -- Holmes invents new scams to fund his fateful, final escape from Chicago. On Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 8-11pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered the entire series, showing all three episodes back to back.
