Plot Synopsis

MOVING COUNTRY is a half-hour reality series that follows families and individuals as they relocate from urban to rural areas in search of a country lifestyle or small-town community. Each 30-minute episode features a different home buyers, including: Scott, Misty, and family, who are heading out of the crowded Denver area to Greenville, SC, where their dollar stretches further; Will and Katie, who are leaving the hustle and bustle of Chicago for the country attitude and musical world of Nashville, TN; Chris, Jenny, and their two girls, who are leaving their cramped accommodations in Dallas-Fort Worth in favor of beautiful hills and unique culture of Austin, TX; Michelle and her daughter, who are moving away from the Big Apple to Louisville, KY to be near family and friends; and many more people who are moving to the country. On the night MOVING COUNTRY premiered, GAC showed four back-to-back episodes from 10pm-Midnight ET/PT.

On Monday, November 24, 2014, GAC debuted the Season 2 premiere of MOVING COUNTRY, showing back-to-back new episodes from 10-11pm ET/PT. The season opener follows Craig and Dana, who are relocating for Craig's job from Boston to Birmingham. Then, the second episode chronicles Lynne and David move from Washington, D.C. to Charlottesville.
