Plot Synopsis

Based on Nicole Lecky's Royal Court play, Superhoe, MOOD is a six-part drama series that's told in part through songs, featuring an original soundtrack performed by Lecky. MOOD is the funny, dark and bold story of East End Londoner Sasha Clayton, a wannabe singer and rapper who's forced to fend for herself when she's kicked out of her family home before she meets enigmatic party girl Carly, who introduces her to the exciting world of social media influencing. But as the gap between her new online presence and her dream of being a singer continues to grow, Sasha struggles to escape a world that is more complex and darker than she could have imagined. MOOD made its U.S. debut on Sunday, November 6, 2022 on BBC America at 10pm ET/PT and earlier in the day on AMC+.
