MONSTERS AND MYSTERIES IN AMERICA explores tales of horrific monsters, ancient spirits and unexplained paranormal phenomena, using re-enactments and first-person accounts with everyday people who believe they have come face to face with real-life folktale fiends. Each 60-minute episode focuses on a different American region, featuring three stories of local legends, including these locations in Season 1: Appalachia (Sheepsquatch in Breckenridge County, KY; UFO/Little Green Men in Hopkinsville, KY; Mothman in Point Pleasant, WV); Pacific Northwest (Sasquatch in Sierra Mountains, CA; Shanghai Tunnels in Portland, OR; Flathead Lake Monster in Polson, MT); Badlands (Devil's Highway; Black Eyed Kids; Curse of Superstition Mountain); and other regions, like the Ozarks, Bayou, and Desert. Destination America premiered the second season of MONSTERS AND MYSTERIES IN AMERICA on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT. MONSTERS & MYSTERIES IN AMERICA returned for its third season on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on Destination America. In the Season 3 premiere, the infamous Men in Black have been spotted around the world, suppressing witnesses and destroying evidence. Are they government agents or something more sinister? Stories included in this episode: beginning in the 1940s, G-Men clad in black suits show up shortly after UFO sightings; one family in West Virginia who details their encounter with the grinning man -- Indrid Cold -- a being of extraterrestrial origins and impressive telepathic power; and more.
