Plot Synopsis

MONEY BARN is a reality series that follows auctioneers, as they travel around southeastern Pennsylvania while competing for the chance to sell the contents of barns that often hide valuable treasures, collectibles, and heirlooms. Plus, the show highlights the barn owners, who discuss the history of their valuables and reveal why they're willing to part with the contents of their barns. The auctioneers include: Lee Hostetter (Lee Hostetter Auctioneers & Realtors), Emily Wears (Wears Auctioneering), and more. As a series sneak peek, Animal Planet showed back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 11pm ET, during which the auctioneers found a 16th century axe, a painting from 1906, and everything else from dressers to dresses and player pianos to pre-Revolutionary War relics.
