Plot Synopsis

MIXELS is a short-form animated series that is centered around a world of colorful creatures who can mix and combine with each other, leading to hilarious and surprising results. They are comical, mischievous creatures that live in tribes of three, with each tribe based around a unique element. They can combine within any one tribe to make larger, more complex Mixels, or cross-combine to gain abilities the other tribe has. All it takes is a couple of Mixels and a Cubit, the magical square that finds a one-of-a-kind way to combine them. One Mixel will be the dominant character, and the other Mixel will give it extra powers to solve a particular problem. While the Mixels live to combine, the Nixels, annoying and destructive little creatures, live to divide by trying to tear down and break apart the tribes. The tribes are: the Infernites, a fiery and short tempered bunch, which includes smarty pants Flain, prankster Zorch, and all-brawn-but-no-brains Vulk; the Cragsters, the industrious mining tribe, comprised of tough and short-fused Krader, shyster Seismo, and clumsy and timid Shuff; and the Electroids, a quirky bunch with enough nervous energy to light up the whole world, which has these members -- scatter-brained jokester Volectro, adrenaline junky Zaptor, and the daring Teslo. MIXELS premiered on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 on Cartoon Network during the 7:30pm ET/PT showing of TEEN TITANS GO.
