Plot Synopsis
This animated series that follows young adventurer Miles Callisto and his family -- mom and ship captain, Phoebe; mechanical engineer dad, Leo; tech-savvy big sister, Loretta; and best friend pet robo-ostrich, Merc -- as they embark on space missions that help connect the galaxy on behalf of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Together, they explore new galaxies filled with peculiar aliens, space-age vehicles and high-tech gadgets, with two different stories in each 30-minute episode. Throughout this STEM series -- which uses consultants from NASA and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), the Space Tourism Society and Google -- Miles and his family model friendship, teamwork, critical thinking, exploration of their environment and the celebration of family. MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND premiered on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 9-11am ET/PT, with Disney Channel broadcasting four back-to-back episodes.

On Monday, October 16, 2017 at 9am ET/PT, Disney Channel premiered the third season of this series with a new title: MISSION FORCE ONE. The new season follows young adventurer Miles Callisto as he leads a highly skilled team of friends, each with their own unique abilities, on exciting outer space expeditions. According to series creator Sascha Paladino, "at the start of Season 1 of MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND, Miles was 7 years old and Loretta 11. In MISSION FORCE ONE, they are 10 and 14." Miles exemplifies science, his sister Loretta specializes in technology and their friends Mirandos, Blodger and Haruna focus on engineering, arts and math, respectively. Their stories introduce imaginative tools and technology, cool new spacesuits and space vehicles while depicting how Miles and his friends help ensure that the universe remains a welcoming, inclusive place for all species. Season 3 guest stars include: Yara Shahidi as Malison, a smart, swaggering alien thief; Felicia Day as Grendel, a brilliant supervillain; and Colman Domingo as an alien creature named Cember. Recurring guest stars include: legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin as Commander Copernicus; Mark Hamill as Gadfly; Whoopi Goldberg as The GameMaster; Olivia Munn as Captain Phoebe Callisto; Bill Nye as Professor Rubicon; Wil Wheaton as Commander S'leet; and ABC News chief meteorologist Ginger Zee as Dr. Zephyr Skye.
