Plot Synopsis

MISS ADVISED is a reality series that follows three single relationship experts -- Julia Allison in Los Angeles, Amy Laurent in New York City and Emily Morse in San Francisco -- who make a living dispensing dating advice, but struggle to make their own love connections, partly because they disregard their own advice. Julia is a columnist, television personality, internet entrepreneur, public speaker and unabashed social media junkie, who is on a quest to find Mr. Right and moves to Los Angeles with a 73-point checklist to guide her search for the man of her dreams. Amy, the founder and president of the exclusive Amy Laurent International matchmaking agency, has used "The Rules" to achieve an 85% success rate finding her clients serious relationships within three months, but she struggles to follow her own guidelines when an old flame comes back to town. Emily, host of radio show and podcast "Sex with Emily," released her first book, "Hot Sex: Over 200 Things You Can Try Tonight," which fits her philosophy that monogamy is an epidemic, but now she rethinks her life mission when her happily-married brother comes to visit, admitting that she would be open to falling in love. One of the production companies, Blondie Girl Productions, belongs to Ashley Tisdale.
